  • We all balance what life throws us with the resources we have available.  At times, stress can overwhelm our system and symptoms emerge: tiredness, depression, anxiety, etc.  With the help of a supportive therapeutic relationship,  we can more effectively utilize our resources and bring ourselves back into balance, back to effectiveness, back to a life well lived.  Sometimes all we need is a little support to get us back on track.

  • We are all born into familial, social, and cultural systems that shape our narratives about ourselves and our individual psychologies.  Within these systems and through our primary relationships during childhood, we learn patterns of attaching and ways of being.  While once adaptive, these patterns may become rigid and inflexible and hold us back from living the life we desire.

  • My goal is to create a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental environment in which clients can explore their unconscious beliefs and become empowered to learn new ways of being and live the life they want.
  • My approach draws on current empirical research
  • Psychodynamic Theory
  • Positive Psychology,  Wellness Approach to Mental Health
